Al Fouz Trust Board of Trustees comprises of 3 respected members from UK and Kuwait, ensuring that our work is effective and conducted according to the teachings of Islam. In order to evaluate our projects, our Trustees make personal visits to field offices and partner organisations.

Name: Dr. Mohammed Jafer Hussain Qureshi
Title: Chair of board of Trustees
Profile: Dr Mohammed Jafer Hussain Qureshi was born in 1945. Dr Qureshi has vast experience of working in the private and public sector in psychiatry as a consultant psychiatrist and is very much sought after for medico/legal work and psychiatric reports. He has extensive experience of representing ethnic minority communities and various governmental bodies, e.g. Department of Health, Chief Medical Officer of Health, member of Public Guardianship Office, London and Department of Lord Chancellor for ethnic minority interests. He is specialist in trauma counselling following major disasters. He has worked in the past in Bosnia and also helped organise major trauma counselling and teaching sessions in Bombay and Gujarat in 2002. He is also member of board of trustees of Peace TV, Muslim Aid, Al-Khair Foundation UK and Zakaat Foundation India UK.

Name: Mr. Waleed Ghanim Faraj Abdullah Alghanim
Title: Member of Board of Trustees
Profile: Mr Waleed Faraj Abdullah Alghanim is a citizen of Kuwait where he obtained a degree in Engineering. He is a senior Public sector executive with extensive experience of working in government, regeneration and economic development. He is one of the founding trustee of The Al-Fouz Trust.

Name: Mr. Mustasam Abbasi
Title: Member of Board of Trustees
Profile: Mustasam Abbasi obtained a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Birmingham UK. He was born in 1979. During his time as a student, Mr Abbasi was actively involved in charitable activities. He is on the board of a number of charities and also acts a strategic advisor to the several Muslim organisation. Mr Abbasi lives in Birmingham and works in automotive sector as Engineering manager. He has extensive strategic and functional experience in many aspects of business operations; particularly within Product development, Quality and launch.
